why dont you devs fix the regular game before you worry about this JTL crap. like the factions or professions. what the developers are doing is kinda like accepting a job and halfway through it you see a new job posted in the news paper. OH look lets ditch our old job for this new one (who cares about all the unfinished projects and work that is essential). well you gotta think of it like job abandonment bites you in the ass when you least expect it. all that unfinished work is gonna crumble your pillar of credits.

well i dont know how long you've been playing, but they've been planning "Space Expansion" aka JTL since before SWG was even released. Its not like they just decided to drop what they were doing and do JTL, the current problems just werent there when they first planned it out.

I also think half the reason they released JTL before they fixed the ground game is to give us something to do while we wait

You have it wrong, it is not up to the devs what they work on. It is up to the shirts in the office. The shirts are the money guys and they are the devs bosses and they make the call on what to do with the game.

Don't blame the devs, they work harder than any of us could imagine, blame the marketers instead
. The marketers say "jedi sell games, so we focus on JEDI now." Which is why Jedi have had 2 publishes and like 3-4 months devoted to them. All the marketers want is to sell more copies of the game, make more money, advertise, rinse, repeat.
These devs deserve the highest admirations. Two games at once! Ever thought of it that way? These devs make this game better every day, and not only are they making it better, but they're making JTL better, crunching for time before launch. Upon JTL launch I'm sure a few of the older players who left SWG will return for JTL, along with some newer players also.
We really have to recognize the great accomplishments of these devs in this game instead of stewing over minor bugs or problems. If it's a major problem, report it using the /bug command, and post it here on the boards (in the correct forum, of course
). There's no need to write a whole message bashing the devs, the game, and end up lowering the community's morale, just a well written, well thought out thread on what the problem is, explained, where it was encountered, what happened, etc.
I hope my message got across; Have a good weekend everyone!

Some of you guysgot it all wrong manypeople forget the Star Wars part of the game. Space Combat was supposed to be inSWG upon release of the game in 2003. To get the game out on time they had to drop the part of game that would of made Starwars Galaxies well more starwarsy. I think they spent a good deal of time getting the expansion together and did a good job. Hopefully after a few JTL patches the Dev team will take time to fix some of the issues were facing on the ground.Be calm...be patient....Programming these fixes isn't like waving a Magic wand. Finally It's just a game for crying out loud.
