Can you actually USE the turret? Or is it just for show? Is it fast, slow?

The flash speeder looks like a speed boat. I drove mine in beta. I'd say its speed is the same as a speeder bike but may not be as fast as a swoop. TH stated they wont be faster than a AV-21 so its between a Speeder and a Swoop. As for the turret, thats non existant. The turret posted in advertisements was a mistake, TH pointed this out a few weeks ago. If i can get a pic up i will post it. NDA is over and i can do it without fear now

Well the turret is not usable (hopefully this can be reconsidered when ATSTs are made into vehicles instead of pets) but as for speed, it seems to be about the speed of the 'speederbike', so slower than the swoops, but faster than the x34. Terrain navigation appears to be pretty good, about on par with the x34 from what I've seen.
Fun to drive and looks good IMO though

Well...at least I feel better about not preordering JtL intime. Though the working turret would've been badass, I don't see how they would make it work with the ground game's current engine...

exactly. I mean you cannot even shoot base turrets at players interactivly. You just get some pop up box that tells you who is close and you select thier name and it shoots at them. Though it would have been cool, a fast moving shooting weapon like a turret on a speeder would have cause massive greifing. Imagine in pvp if all a guy had to do was hop on his flash speeder and just whale you with shots, speed off, come back, whale on you again and repeat until your dead. He'd be moving so fast you wouldnt be able to either get a shot off or catch up. Even if you had him selected he'd move so far out of your target range it would be pointless. And with the capability of getting an infinate supply of Flash Speeder's, a perk given to pre-orders since the flash speeder cannot be crafted, it'll be the number one nerf target of the year, hands down.
