Thread: CorSec Tier 3 mission 2 help

Ok im going to go out on a limb here that there is a bug involved in this but here goes.
The mission runs just dandy untill i get to the point i have to dock with a corsec awing during a firefight. while this is all well and good the waves of tier3-4 ships come every 10-20 seconds.. and start as far as 3k from the target waypoint.
It becomes a matter of time before i die now matter how many i, or my group kills. Has anyone found a way to finish this monster? I have even gone so far as to have a master help me with it and we stil got smoked.
And is the AI designed to target the mission holder only? this has come up on this mission as well. The NPC's ignore all group members and target me only... i assume thats not normal either.

Ok, that was the next thing i was going to try. I enjoy a challenge, but this mission is just annoying lol. I hope the rest of the tier 3 missions are still hard.. yet not quite so stupid. Thanks for the advice though

Np The rest of the missions are hard but not stupid like that mission and can all be soloed

Its not impossibleto do I have done it.So don't kill them diable there engines. This will give you time to get to the waypoint anddock with the decoy ship.

I just logged off after my third attempt at this mission, it is ridiculous. There were literally 7 waves of fighters, I had disabled so many engines it wasn't funny. Am I supposed to ignore those fighters and proceed directly to the waypoint with them on my tail, and disable their engines when I get there?

Disable there engines then ignore them and get to the waypoint. You will get attacked again after a minute but just repeat until you get there. Thendock Ignoring thewave of 5 ships. Then destroy all of the ships left.I think if the are 6 ships or more attacking they will not send anymore waves untila disabled ships just blows up by itself
