Is there a guide for what parts are best for what ships? I am trying to put in a second weapon on my y wing, but when I try and fire the 2nd weapons group, only the first group goes off.....



Granted i'd like to see a guide to ships and their gear.



Anyone have any links of info?

A basic y-wing is a two player ship. To get the second weapon to fire, you need a gunner.


Components aren't really specific to ships. There isn't a blaster that is better in an x-wing than in a Tie Advanced.


However, the different ships do have very different mass limits. So for an x-wing you can probably load it out pretty well and not worry about mass. For a tie advanced you really have to watch the mass and determine if you can sacrifice one component peformance for another.


As a rule of thumb, always weigh the cost/benefit of the mass of an item versus its performance. Some folks have stuck with level 3 reactors for a long time, since the mass is so low, and it just meets their power needs, instead of moving up to a level 5 or 7 reactor.

How do you get a gunner for your ship? and how do you launch with one?
