Jump To Lightspeed Archive

This mission i need to disable a yacht and every time i disable the yacht and it comes to the fighters right after i take out the second fighter the yacht goes to hyperspace. Can someone plz tell how to beat that one mission. I tired disabling both the reactor and the engines different times.
