If you resign from for instance Storm Squadron and and want to try Black Epsilon, be sure your Tie's are empty!..You cannot manage them anymore and since you cannot redeed anything if there are items on them. You have to delete a fully equiped ship because you wont get a newbie shipif there are 3 ships in the datapad:/ Managing a ship should at all times be possible!

How do you resign from one squadron and join another. This is the first time I've heard of this.

You can resign with a pilot coordinator, i think every pilot starter town has one..(Imperial in Bestine, infront of the capitol building)

The problem with this is not the 3 ship limit or the datapad, but that there is NOTHING to do after you reach Master PIlot, unless you enjoy PvP. If anything they should make Space Mission Terms, or Allow you to change squadrons without dropping everything.
I see JTL being fun for about another month for most players then it becoming just a novelty and an easy way to travel without waiting for shuttles.
There is NO content besides the missions. I'm a PvE player, and honestly, if they moved the corvette out of Kessel (and not because it's a PVP zone but because some people are too tempted to grief), the PvP players can have it back, it's barren and boring for PvE.

I am 1111 and am seriously considering switching to Black Epsilon because I am hearing so many horror stories about Storm Squadron. I am not in a guild I know hard it is to find players to group so I don't want to end up getting stuck in the higher end of the Storm Squadron missions. I take it once you make the switch you lose all of your pilot skills and go back to 0000? Does the trainer give your a new Tie suit and helmet as you advance?

You can trade them to someone who is certified to empty them and redeed them for you.

Dont resign from Storm squadron to go Black Epsilon.I was able to do SS 3-3-2-2and BE 3-2-2-2 solo, both are allmost equally hard to do alone..I'm now in Inquisition 2-1-1-1...You get a new suit and helmet, everytime you start a new career (0-0-0-0) and you lose all skills to. Dont forget to have atleast space for 1 ship left in datapad when resigning (or remove all items from the ship to be able to redeed)

Thanks for sharing
But still itshould be possible to redeed and add the items to your inventory, even if you dont have the skills to fly it...

Yes a sort of "autoempty" on redeed would be cool. Not sure if that would be easy to build in.
I remember that shipwrights asked for the reverse way so they would be able to fit in all levels of equipment to sell "complete" ships.
