Is it possible for me to switch starting mission cities for my character? I started in Tattooine but Want to switch to Corellia. I have just done the first flight in Tattooine.

Also, I was wondering what rank I need to get to so that I can buy a ship large enough to ferry around my friends (up to 8 people). I will also need hyperspace capabilities. What ranks of which skills do I need and what ship should I buy? (I'd like one I can walk around in.)

To switch you must first get rid of your currently pilot skill. You can do that in Bestine Hotel. There is the Ex-Guildmaster of the smugglers alliance or so. He is standing in the left room in front of the bar.

For a Multiperson-ship you need MASTER PILOT or 180 daysof account-time(Sorrosuub - Veteran-ship).

So I drop out of the smuggler's faction and then re-join by talking to the smuggler level 1 on Corellia?

The trainer for Privateer is in Coronet in the guildhall type building when you go from the starport to the ID tent.

Coronet Privateer flies for CorSec.

i got a question somewhat simular to the above stated.

I choose to be an Alliance pilot out of Moenia, Naboo. I played until i got the *UGLY* flightsuit. And now i want to drop being a rebel and become a privateer flying for the smugglers alliance....what do i do?!?

Do i just surrender the novice box of Alliance pilot and then talk to the guy on tattoine that lets you join the smugglers alliance?!?'

Any help is much appreciated.
