Dit.
Of course, they may be on the other side of the planet, too... the side we can't reach.

I don't know about anybody else but it bugs the living crap out of me that you don't see the sun or suns you see rising and setting whilst on the planets. I've not been to deep space yet so don't know if they've bothered to add them there. But it's a bit stupid, well beyond stupid you can take off from Tat and look around and see no suns which are a big feature you notice whilst on the ground game. It may seem small deal to some but it pretty pathetic leaving such a obvious part of a solar system out in the space game but include it on the ground game.
Just another of the many obvious minor blunders in the game. Star Destroyers that are half-there. Lunar terminators that face the wrong direction (as if there were multiple suns in disparate locations), stars that pass in front of the moons and other orbiting objects.
And yes, I too turned my starship to look at the suns, and found none there.
And while I'm at it - there is WAY TOO MUCH nebulosity - it just looks silly, not like space, but like some fantasy land.
Oh, and the star streaks in the jump to hyperspace cutscene look ridiculously fake - and the exit from hyperspace is also completely wrong - LOOK AT THE MOVIES!! THE EXAMPLES ARE THERE!
/end rant

Hmmm... I never really noticed. That's right, there are no suns. Especially for Tatooine, suns are really important.

If they were on the other side of the planet, the side we can see wouldn't be illuminated. We'd be on the dark side.

That's where the star destroyers are anyway.
