Here's just a few things I came up with:
1. Hosting off-planet Jedi vs. Sith (or dark-jedi) fights.
2. Taking guest to watch space battles.
3. Setting up a moble store to sell goods.
What idea's do you have?

Use it to draw aggro while your friends blow up npc's.

good ideas but how are you getting people to board your ships me and my friends are having problems. If this would work it would be awsom to have a mobil ShipWright shop. it cold be like a toe truck.
Player: My engins are dissabled and I dont want to eject.
Me: Ok i will be right there with a repare droid!
that would be cool.
Let me know if you all are having luck with the board command.

i use mine to bring some twilekdancers into the privacy of space and we all go up to the top level and they feed me melons up there and dance for me while I watch some pvp action.

dancers mucisians and doc's on it to buff in a place were they aint gona get mobbed by greifers or end up with que's of like 40 people when they dont want to hang around that long.

Was thinking of hiring it out as a luxury limousine service. Think about it....
Hunting parties (Arrive at your hunting destination relaxed and in style)
Set up a vendor to sell food/drink, have a few entertainers and a doc, reduce you bf and get buffed (assuming you can do this in space) and then arrive at your chosen planet for a bit of hunting. At the end of your hunt travel home in style whilst you share stories of the day.
Love boat (For honeymooners or couples in love)
Need some privacy? Want to travel in style to your honeymoon destination? Or maybe youwant to reignite the passion with your lover?
Imagine spending some "quality time" with your loved one whilst you look out at the stars from the viewing deck. Privacy and discretion assured.
Stag parties
Drink/eat/beautiful dancers/general debauchery (you get the idea!)
Just need to time to kit my yacht out and away we go......

Make a petition so that all that beautifull windows can become gun ports (for BIG guns).
Add a ship control station to the top floor.
And blast way with both BROADSIDES !

I found a problem with using my yacht for storage
The items in the yacht appear in the screen for managing your ships but they can't be manipulated by you.

I use my Sorosub as a mobile house for my merchant character. If the storage was higher I'd sell my ground house and use my lots only for tents and harvesters.
It's already saving me a fortune in 'airfares' to visit and restock my vendors on other planets.

1. A house/ transport for inventory
2. The Buff Boat: Get an entertainer and a doc and five lucky passengers and buff in space, then deliver group to their destination.
3. (My favorite) The surprise attack vehicle: Worried about enemy guilds seeing you buff and prepare for a raid? Meet in different cities, declare, and load up four or five boats and launch from the different cities.
Then, buff in space, hyperspace to rendezvous point and then everyone coordinate landings on an enemy target. (This obviously won't work on player cities that don't have starports, but it puts you within one shuttle jump of a player city.) A great way to coordinate the instant teleportationof 8, 16, 24, 32 or more overt players smack dab in the middle of enemy territory. Load kill that suckas!
The real advantage is the secrecy. No more players on your team blurting out the raid details in spatial chat. No worries about spies revealing what the ticketing destination is. No worries about enemies seeing you massing in Coronet or Theed. You wouldn't have to tell your own players what the target is. You'd only have to tell them to get on the boat. You wouldn't even have to tell the pilots what the destination is until you actually land.
It's an attack yacht.

How about using it as a tuna can and floating it out in space for garbage. Thats about all its good for with no guns
