Any at all? I'm hopeless...i dunno what else to do. Ive been stuck on it for a week..and im getting bored of SWG now. I don't wana do ground i wana do space..but being stuck on this mission won't help anything. What is it do i have to do...recruit 20 ppl into a group? Which is impossible cuz everyone seems to be fighting for them self. Asking around for a guild doesn't work...as well as crying a river in coronet for help. This ENDOR mission really sucks....i dont like the idea of one tie fighrer against 20 a-wings or less. They call it STORM SQUADRON..but wheres the squadron..it's just one Tie Fighter..that tie fighter being you. I mean i dont have a choice...but to sit on the forums..and whine...waitin to get flamed by a bunch of Imperial Ace pilots.

Sunrunner is the server i am on...character is Vega' Barcelona just like that..if u can offer some GROUP Help. I never wana see this mission again. Someone fulfill this wish. EMAIL if u can. State a reasonable DATE to perform this mission...i truly wana get this crap overwith so i can be a little bit*h and sport that cool as$ imperial ace jacket..to fly happily in that oh so beautiful Tie INterceptor.

I believe they made that mission for players to get grouped to beat it. I had to get a group to help me out but then again when i tried it solo my mission kept running into spawn points causing it harder to beat.

I hate to say it but, Storm Squadron is a bich to the bitter end, im looking forward to the corvette after these tier 4 missions

I assume that you're stuck on the Engineer Escort mission? You're a 2222 pilot?
It may help to actually tell us what mission you're on, before asking for advice...
If you are on the engineer escort mission, I've got some tips for ya.
a) Get a fast engine. Look for one 60+ for it's top speed...I think I used a 62, or 64. Yes, they do exist at your level.
b) Get good boosters...at a minimum, 25.0 for their top speed.
c) Get an Engine overload chip. Preferably engine overload 3. Obviously, a flight computer and Droid interface will be needed. Get a DI with as low mass as possible...command speed is irrelevant.
d) Max out on the rest of your mass. You'll be pretty close...but max out as much as you can, depening on your fighting style. Any mass left unused is potential power you could have had.
e) Get a few friends together...even one or two. Most of the trouble will come in the last segemnt of the mission.
f) Do the mission as normal, and don't run the engine overload chip yet. There is the possibility it may disable your guns, if you're reactor isn't good enough.
g) After the final escort...I think it's the third one...it's a dash to a lambda shuttle. Awings spawn in waves, and target on YOU, the primary. As soon as the first wave comes in, hit the Engine Overload (put this in your toolbar beforehand) then, as the Awings open fire, hit your boosters. By the time the Awings turn, you should be out of range. Now all you need to do is outrun them. You'll be doing close to 1000 without boosters, if not a little bit over. Dock with the shuttle ASAP...the Awings don't stop spawning until you finish the docking process.
once you've finished, you can safely die.

Hey, sorry I'm a little late getting to this.
Yeah, Storm Squadron is globally recognized as the most difficult campaign in JTL of all 3 factions. Few are the ones who have been able to solo their way through it all, so don't feel bad about needing to call in for backup.
I'm not available for a while to lend support, but contact my squadmates Aeroson, Ofodo, A'kasha, or Mikan if you need some help. I'm sure they'll be able to swing up there for you a couple of times.

I just did the first Tier 3 mission. I"m now on the second one, I had help, but we died in one shot thanks to the Nova cruiser. I asked a guild for help, and hopefully they will be kind enough to help me finish it up as I hear they are all a beast to complete.
I was thinking I would run each of the pilot trees, but I"m now not wanting to ever drop when I get to master.
I just wish there was a way to break up the mission, the first took just over an hour to complete, and I'm not one that can fight for that long. Hopefully I'll be better once I got my ship upgrade.
