hey guys,
i see the verteran starship is a multipassanger ship, does this mean it will have turrents for other players to man, such as the mellenium falcon model? and decorate the interior as well?Also, will i be able to fly it right away, as novice Alliance Pilot? or must i gain the ability to by lvling up in other starships? Will the ship be for combat at all?
sorry if these questions have been asked before i just couldnt find the answers anywhere. thanks for any reply

The Yacht is a real dog, pretty to look at, but a dog to fly. You cannot up grade it, you can't arm it, you can't do squat with it or in it. I redeeded mine because it also takes up one slot you will need for your fighting ships. A total waste.
Some gift from SWG. It is a weight of lead on a pack, so just store it in the bank. Maybe someday they will truly make it a gift and allow it as an additional ship to hold parties on, or to dress up and play house with. Now, you can ony take up 20 total players, but they must all have JTL or they can't visit. Short sighted SWG folks should let non-JTLs up in the Yachts to encourage others to join JTL, but like I said, they are not that swift in the SWG upper echelons.
A garbage scow would serve a better purpose to the loyal veterans than does this stupid ship.

They need to have the content downloaded to see the content. Thats why they need JTLS.

I love my SoroSuub. It may be useless, but it sure is pretty. I use it quite regularly.
But I do hate that it keeps me from using another starfighter. I love multi-player ships, so when I got ace I took the Nova Cruiser. The B-Wing has always been my favorite ship, so I took that as well. And seeing as I had the SoroSuub already, well there's my three ship limit right there. And none are a decent starfighter.
I really would like to have an X-Wing or A-Wing as my starfighter, but I've reached my limit and can't do it. I wish the Devs would just make it so the SoroSuub doesn't count towards our ship limit or give us one more ship slot at ace.

Nah, both are decorated and I'm quite proud of them. Besides, the decorations inside the SoroSuub would like strange in my Nova.

i forget how do i know if i have enought time yet to get my yatch and how do i claim it. I bought the game when it first came out but then canceled and recently started playing again.

I dont quite understand the complaints here. Its a Luxury Yacht. Last time i checked a Luxury yacht didnt do Mach 40. It was a ship that went slow. Much like a Cruise in real life. I know you are all gonna say "Well Landos had guns and it was fast" Yeah he also modded it with those items. It originally didnt have them. It was a FREE item from SOE hinch the word free. If you dont like it then dont claim it. Simple as that.

Well, you can try /claimveteranreward and see if it lets you take it. Or try /checkvet, I think that's the command. It'll say how long you've played.

/getvet is the command I use. And I think you have to have six consecutive months under your belt before you get the yacht.
I think the biggest thing the yacht has going for it is that you can have up to 20 people in it at a time. No other MP ship can do that, apparently. I remember reading that the devs were quite proud of the fact they were able to achieve that stability with so many people in it.

Just move everything from the sorusub to your nova cruiser. It is much better, that way you can have your b-wing & x-wing
