Err, so I finished Tier 2 a couple nights ago and was told it was time to move on to Yavin. After dinking around with other stuff and getting some flying exp and cash, I went and talked to the Trandoshan on Yavin to get my next missions. I was 2/2/2/2 and had about 1/5th the experience to get my first box.

Without the hooplah about doing enough duty to get enough experience, like Lady Viopa gave me (she required exp, giving duty missions, and then training in a tier 2 box before she would give a mission), he just threw me into my first mission, which involved disabling then escorting a YT-1300 and killing some spawns. When I got back, he offered to train me. I had maybe half the necessary experience. Ok, Starship Components 3.

Went out again a little later, after upgrading my weapons a bit. He again offered me a mission without any duty mission issues. This time was a long mission to steal information from Hutts in the Endor system, fly back to Yavin and dock twice with Rebel outrunners/scouts and then hyperspace back to Endor and defend a waypoint and, finally to escort a freighter. Mission took me about an hour because I decided to take advantage of the numerous spawns at certain mission points. I had maybe 20k exp to my first box at that point. Lo and behold, on returning, he offers to train me again. Starfighters 3 and now I'm 3/3/2/2.

I still haven't gotten enough exp for my first box yet. I'm about a 10 minute grind short. Is this normal and intended, or is it bugged? Any idea?
