Hi there, i'm deciding to get back to SWG for a bit, just for JTL's fun (i kinda hate CU infact). I've got a few questions for you though:
1-) What's the best Single Player Ship usable for Imperial Ace Pilots nowwith RotW? u've actually got an Oppressor a KSE and a Decimator to play with friends but i was interested to know if any of the new spacecrafts are better
2-) What ships need a quest to be completed in order to be able to use them? I heard infact that even if u buy some chassis of the new ships you won't still be able to fly them without completing a quest first.

Glance over the FAQ in the pilots forum, it'll walk you through all of the new ships.
As far as the best ship for an Imp pilot, it's a matter of taste. The Opressor is a nice heavy weapons platform, while the new Royal Guard TIE is a great dogfighter. Fly 'em and see what you like.

Firespray is the best thing out there to PVE Tank stuff for an IMP.
Crimson Tie Interceptor will let you fly circles around anything if you can get equipment re'd with low enough mass to equip it decently.
Best mix is probably Eta-2(Jedi Starfighter) or Belbullab-22(Grevious Starfighter)
Those 2 have 90k mass, more maneuvarable then an A-wing, 2 weapons points and 1 ordanance point.
