Thread: Firespray: Intelligent Targeting (?)

I recenetly purchased myself a KSE Firespray. I loaded everything up, and took her into space. I ran my overloads, looked around the cockpit, then decided to test out the guns. I blasted a few shuttles, watched them light up. I decided to get close and personal with one, and flew in right behind him. Low and behold, as I was possibly 20m away, my crosshairs went to the far lower portion of the screen. Ironicly, it was where my blasters actually went. Interesting. After investigating, I can target a ship, and as I fly closer, my sights ajust to where I actually hit.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Has it been included, or is this somthing new?

I packed my firespray after I switched to rebel pilot. X-wing is much more manueverable and durable than KSE, and i am never worried about getting blown up in space PvP while in X-wing...since you can replace it for 100k

Thats normal. The targeting systems on some of the more "unique" ships work sometimes, and sometimes they dont. For the Firespray you have to keep in mind that the weapon hard points on the ship are firing from well below the cockpit and you have to compensate for that. It takes a while to get used to, but if you follow the targeting crosshair either a little early or a little late (depending on angles) you should hit dead on.
I personally don't fly my Firespray because of this and prefer my JSF, only because I like small, quick ships. For me, the Firespray is just to large of a target from behind
