Just got home from work... i am a 4,3,4,4 iniitiate. Checked out the convesion charts and the new skill trees and it would appear that i am going to have 6 (six) skill points that i wont be able to spend efficently. I was going to go 0044LS and novice defense or enhance + 1 box i thought... 
Does these unused 6skillpoint convert back into xp or am i simply screwed? What should i do if i am? Where can i best put my points? PLEASE HELP...thankyou, Arguss

to sya it nicely...your screwed...unless you find a way to spend those 6 poins
I'd think about getting the LS 0043, and use the 8 points on a 1000 anything

You don't have enough points to really care or matter. You have a **edit**load of grinding to do anyway so just dump points into LS. Everyone will be a master LS (or they will suck). Get your weapon and use the rest of the points for fencer or TK (or both). Make yourself a melee machine for the grind.

wait a sec...im confused. You have to use the extra 6 points to train regular skills right? Why cant you train those skills and then surrender them again?

At initiate 4344 you have 62 points to spend, after the 24 points for the FS. That should give you 0244 in any one tree with 0 points left over.
Don't take any more than one novice box with your converted points, they take 8 points but only cost 20k xp. Fill one tree as far as you can with your converted points and buy any other boxes you want with whatever xp you have banked.

Would you mind explaining why thats better over saber 0244? Not that i dont trust your opinion because well..you would know but it might be educating to hear why.

wouldnt he be better off with 0044 LS, or 0244(whatever it is), then just grind the 20k xp, and the minimal xp for 1000 enhance in the new system?
that 4th lightsaber box prolly cost alot more xp then novice enhance(20k) and a first tier skill. no?

i don't think saber 0043 / 1000 enhance is the best way to go..... yes your not wasting the skill pts, but now you have to grind a 1.6 million box in sabers in exchange for a 200k box in enhance. Bad trade in my opinion.. Take the 0044 saber and let the 6 pts go to waste.

arjun prolly meant that from a playstyle standpoint...0043 LS an 1000 enhancer might be easier to play than 0244 LS (not really sure)....but form an experience standpoint...if you do 0043 ls with 1000 enhancer...ull have a hole lot more exp to grind to get 0044 LS...when u can alternitavely do 0244 LS and then the 220k jedi exp for 1000 enhancer (20 for novice and 200 for the first box i think it is)...that way instead of doing the 1.6 mil as previously stated to be 0044 ls and 1000 enhancer...u only have to do 220k and ud be 0244 ls and 1000 enhancer...so might be better to go for 0244 LS at first and just gain that 220k jedi exp to get 1000 enhancer
also can compare it this way if it matters at all:
0043 ls & 1000 enhancer = 4.64 million jedi exp -> 0244ls/1000en would take 2.2 million jedi exp
0244 ls = 6.62 million jedi exp

basically was trying to say...to get to 0244 ls and 1000 enhancer
going the 0043ls 1000en route would need 2.2 mil jedi exp to get to the above stated
starting at 0244 ls and going to 0244 ls 1000 en would only need 220k jedi exp...
so if that is the route u would like to take...u either need 2.2 mil to get there or 220k exp to get there...so it would be easier to start as 0244 ls and work to 1000 enhancer...then to start with 1000 enhancer and go from 0043 to 0244...hope that helps
