ok, have finished the missions with captain koh and have now got my mining ship. loaded up with guns, laser and beam and went into space.......... something is definetly wrong. I had tractor beams coming from all guns and pointing off to the left regardless of where guns are pointing, the pilot couldnt fire anything, is that right?, the beam, when i did get it to fire from top turret wouldnt turn, altogether a big disappointment. The ship is great but not much use unless i can control the weapons etc, i like it but here we go again, new thing won't work..................... It might be a problem with the opreator, me!, who knows?, is there a guide anywhere that i can read up on? is anyone else having similar problems? looking forward to your comments and help?????? Z

im having the problem where i cant fit my guns in the weopns slots it comes up wiv unreconised command and that, all i can put on it is my tractor beam and laser mining.

I have 2 problems with the Y-8:
1. The viewports are all black, I cannot see outsideand I think the problem is more than just having non-transparent surfaces.
2. I've managed to fit all kind of guns on the ship but, when I set the ship up for a mining operation with a class 2 mining laser, the weapon did fire but did not break any chunks off the asteroid. I've tried it with different asteroids of which onehad a fellow miner in a ETA-2 mining normally.
Neither the turrets nor the pilot gun slot with the class2 laser worked.
