I created an application to track and analyze looted ship components. It's available at www.spaceLoot.com.

This is a notice thread that I don't check very frequently. If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please post them in this thread on the pilot forums.

Nice site.

I find the max and min numbers for various components' attributes very interesting. In my own experience, I've seen some rare drops that go way beyond some of these numbers. I guess that once your database hits critical mass, the numbers will better reflect this.

I have a question, though. Are these submissions of non-RE'd loot orpost-REresults? You may have mentioned this on your site, but I probably just missed it.

Again, nice job on the site!

Nice site, very impressed. I do web designing myself, and thats pretty nice. I would like to contribute, but I sell all my components to the chassis dealer On my next run I'll see what I can add.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I don't often review this thread.

The numbers on the site SHOULD all be pre-RE, though in the past I've perhaps not done as good a job as I should have of indicating that to submitters. It's perfectly possible to enter bad data in the form of already RE'd components. I usually find those and delete them in fairly short order.

I agree, this site is like the holy book of any space nut, but seeing it down worries me. I hope it's temporary.
