My o my, for the past couple of day's I've been reading the other combat profesion and GCW boards. It seems that Jedi are causing quite the hate these days. I remember back in the day when our KD was spammable I don't think we got quite as much hate lol... Well I guess thats because 1 or 2 people could kill a bh who was KD spaming.
Lol... some of the more humorus posts I've read have been about how all the imperials are afraid to go overt and are in hiding from the swarms of Jedi's harvesting FRS from them.
Me o my o... lol
Do Jedi pay more than we do for they're accounts... cause I've been playing since day 1 and umnnn I feel something has GOT to give.
Now mind you this isn't a call for nerf... just some observations of the MASSES of non-bh response to the Jedi issues.

Jedi start the FRS when they hit above Knight I think. But the only way for them to move up is to kill opposing faction Knights. They are permanently overt to each other.
yeah BH has a problem.

nope Jedi get FRS from killing overts also. They just get less. Congratz on being a fencer.

Jedi are hated because
1) Most of them act like complete idiots and do nothing but whine and expect respect in return
2) Jedi should be reclusive and hiding out, not brandishing their lightsabers in coronet daring anyone to attack them.
I'm not a BH but I hope they make BH even better. In my opinion, a MBH should be able to go toe to toe with a Jedi Knight, and it should be an even fight.

Iwent fencer because it has damn good defenses.
Jedi can't touch me w/ a CoB macro + Air Cake ^_^

Kewl Kewl... As a wookie I don't fight with my paws... it's umn... uncivilized. In wookie culture that would be known as being a Mad Claw and Im afraid my parents wouldn't approve.

Yep. Jedi suck. The system sucks. We've all heard it and said it a million times.
The jedi system has effectively divided the community between pro-jedi and pro-StarWars. I'll call for a nerf b/c I think the system is unbalanced. There has to be risk vs. reward. There has to be checks and balances. There has to be solutions to the jedi exploits (FRS xpfarming from alts). Right now, none of this exists...despite the fact that they dedicated an entire patch to the profession. Completely ridiculous.
Yes, we all paid the same amount for the game and the same subscription fee. But at SoE, its becoming quite apparent that our money is not as valuable as others.

I also think the community is divided by whos a hardcore gamer and whos casual (by causual I mean a couple hours a day, as opposed to 6+ consistently).
I was shocked at first to noticebyusingmy friend's listthat Jedi are online more than anyone else. I suppose its not too surprising given the task of having completed 30+ professions.

The community is divided but the devs are making us mesh.
I used to take pride in being one of the best PVPers on my server (my alternate, that is). I didn't need to play 12+ hours a day or whatever. I could log on, get buffed up, go to coronet overt, kill a few people, get killed myself, and it was all in good fun.
Now there exists an "ub3r 1337" class that can go around with impunity knowning that once they reach a certain stage it's going to take a bunch of people to bring them down. They spent a lot of time grinding professions... so what? I think that's why a lot of these stupid Jedi complain; they spent so much time worrying about mastering professions they forgot to learn how to actually PVP.
In any case, BH needs to be MUCH more powerful. Not necessarily in *general* but maybe more Jedi Specific. Give them defenses versus the force and defense versus lightsaber or something. Something needs to be done to counteract the rat like jedi that have infested this game.

Do I have any hope of being accepted into the beta. I think I woulkd be a very valuable tester( reporting bugs ect..). Because I havent been playing for long(3-4 months) do I have a chance?

Just wait for open beta at least u CAN get in.Just wait till Oct,8-22nd for open beta.How to get in you ask,well you just have to pre-order JTL or call SOE for a disc (note: you must live in US for pre-order)
