I have run this mission twice, both times I have disabled a Nym Lieutenant, inspected him, and docked with him and transfered the cargo which was the hostage orders. Now when I go back and talk to Oberhaur and converse with him all I get is 2 choices. One says "I ran into some trouble" or something similar, and the other says "Stop Conversing". After the docking procedure there doesn't seem to be any new item in my inventory, or in my data pad. The second time I did the mission, I disabled 2 Nym Lieutenants and sucessfully docked with them abut the same thing happens. Also after I dock sucessfully, the mission is cleared from my quest log. Am I doing something wrong or is the mission just bugged?

I have that mission too, i scanned the ship, got the message that the stuff i want is on that ship, disabled it and tried to dock, but i cant... i get the message that the ship i try to dock on denies my request.

What to do? :/

You are not the only one, I have ran the mission several times. Idisable the ship and then do an inspect, message says thatit contains the info I need and use the /dock command to get it. But no matter how close I am or what I do it says..."ship denies your request to dock". Glad to hear that I am not the only one. Any ideas folks?

i haven't seen this bug damn. i just did the mission a week or two ago on starsider and the only hard part was finding the liutenant.

you guys that get a "request for dock denied" messageare absolutely sure you got the "you have disabled your target!" message and when you actually go to dock you didn't accidentaly target another ship? i know it sounds dumb but i did that so many times my first time through. i'd be frantically typing /dock over and over only to realize i had targetted some other ship nearby.

as for returning to the captain and failing the mission anyway, even after docking, are you sure you inspected the ship first? after you inspect and dock did you blow the ship up? after you've done all 3 of those things did you sit around in the zone for a few minutes to see if you get another part to the mission? (i can't remember if there's more parts or not).

inventories empty?

i don't know if any of these things will help but it's worth a shot.

Come to think of it I don't believe in my case that I ever saw the disabled message. I just assumed after I blasted him a bit and his engines blew out and he stopped moving that he was "disabled" will run the mission one more time to be sure. I know it is not a distance/targeting/or failed to inspect problem for me. Will see what happens. Thanks for the input.
