hi i want to know about ships. first i want the best fighter ship i can get for a rebel and what do i need on it to make it the best.

second i want a passenger ship what would you prefer? is there a website i can see pics of the ship? thanks for your input

Best FighterShip Chassis for Rebels is the Advanced X-Wing which is a quest reward... as for Craftable chassis it is the "normal" X-Wing.

Oh there is one more nice ship... the Belbullab... which is a loot Deed. 90k mass 1800/1800 chassis, small like hell and fast like hell too. Actually matches the Jedi StarFighter (you need imp faction to get that one) with the sol exeption of size. The belbullab is slightly larger... but only slightly!

Best "Bomber" Ship chassis is the Y-Wing Longprobe, because the B-Wing is sluggish as hell. There is one more, but very expensive, chassis that´s great for rebels. The KSE Firspray, those replace the B-Wing/Y-Wing quite nicely as Bomber, since the Firespray has 2 Ordenances.

Quip:

This aint no "single player game" there is no way to get the "Super-uber-state-of-the-art" stuff right away... This is a Multiplayer game... a massive one... hence getting the best equipment involves lots and lots and lots of work!

Good equipment is Reverse Engineered Equipment. The crafted stuff is okay... but the best quip comes through reverse engineering... That means you have to loot loot loot... and then pick out the best pieces with the appropriate Reverse Engineering level (in example 6x RE lvl 6 pieces to get ONE good lvl 6 part). You will need a shipwright for this. They are the only ones that can Reverse Engineer.

Generally the best equipment will NOT mean you become a good PvP´er. It makes things a bit easier but in the end it´s back to your piloting skillz... the better pilot allways wins.
