And if you still want to argue, repost and include in there, "PVP damage should be reduced," as well as, "The first Storm Squadron mission is broken and impossible."

Argh, does nobody understand continuity? Does nobody understand that Lucas (in his prequelly, "Somehow-Lost-All-My-Talent-In-The-Eighties" way) was actually trying to drive some ties between the old and new trilogies? No?
Imagine this -- you're a taxicab driver. Been driving them for years, and you're pretty good at it. Those wacky MIT kids finallyfigure out repulsorlifts, and with this new technological advance, cars are flying pretty soon. But when the new upgrade hits your office, you say, "I don't want to drive a flying taxicab. I want to drive a flying BUS! Never you mind that the differences between taxicabs and buses are huge, that the two are controlled, and handle, and are powered in entirely different ways... I want to because that bus looks cool!"
So, in short....
....you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!
hey... isnt that from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? heheheheh

I'm not understanding your point. Could we drop the analogy and have you just tell us what you're talking about?
Oh. sorry. I thought my point was somewhat obvious to anyone familiar with the SW universe. Do forgive me.
-= SPOILER ALERT IF YOU'VE BEEN UNDER A ROCK FOR A FEW YEARS AND DON'T PLAY SWG MUCH =-
The Galactic Senate was dissolved and Chancellor Palpatine named himself Emperor, right? Ergo, all Republic resources immediately became Galactic Empire resources. That's why the Clone Troopers' armor looks so much like Stormtroopers' armor. That's why theAT-TEs logo looks so much like the AT-ATs. That's why--and pay attention, kids--the Eta-2 "Actis" Interceptor looks so much like a TIE fighter. They're all direct predecessors. On the other side of the fence, the ARC-170 is a direct predecessor of the X-wing.

Although I can't speak much to the controls of the craft because neither exist, it's obvious that the two are of the same base design. Bulbous cockpit surrounded by (relatively) vertical panels, dual rear-center-mounted ion engines, etc.I thinkIt logically follows that a pilot with an intimate familiarity with one would be able to pick up the other pretty quickly. But flying larger, heavier, craft like X-wings which are built, and handle, entirely differently, wouldn't. Which is where my analogy picks up -- buses and taxicabs fulfill the same purpose, but are different enough that someone who drives one doesn't automatically know how to properly drive another.Assuch, there'sNO reason for all the whining that went along with the ARC/JSF split, period, game over, case closed.
Better?
