Oooh, well I wanna do that. How and were do I do that? I was working under the asumption that when I took a rebel mission that I'd actually be considered a combatant since....well, I'm in combat and being attacked by opp. faction npcs.

Find a rebel space station.
Be advised that once you declare, it's the same as going overt on the ground and you'll be open to attack from other players who have also declared.

You can declare at any rebel space staion in any galaxy as long as there is a rebel base there. Be careful though once you declare you are pvp live to anyone else in space. I have run over 30 imp missions out of the reb outpost on rori (tier 4 tie duty mission) and never seen another player or even been attacked. Thank god there is no continuity from the ground pound game to space or there would actually be people in space to watch out for.

Can you get faction point while killing in space? I'm a rebel and I went to a Foward HQ the other night and went active. I then talked to the pilot trainer and launched to space to run a duty mission. I killed some 30 tie's and not a single faction point. Killing storm troopers in back alleys count more then destroying squadrons of ships in support relief efforts?
