Why can't you use both? I have a Nova Courier ship and my Y-8 and can use either of them if I wish. BUT, I did have destroy my Sorosub Yacht in order to "use" it. Fortunately I had another Sorosub Yacht deed in my bank and nothing stored on the ship, so no biggie. Basically you can't have 3 multi passanger ships. Well...actually you can, but the game won't let you "use" them unless one is deeded or destroyed from your datapad. Sucks really.

i did the quest before it bugged itself to death, and im stuck with a quandary-which of these ships to use?

It all depends on what you wish to do, fly around in a super bugged ship with 3 (?) gunmounts or fly around in a lesser bugged ship with fewer gunmounts...
I'd pick the Decimator, that's the lesser bugged ship... And it's a combat ship....
But if you're talking on space mining, i'd pick a single-man ship that has more than 1 gunmount on it.

oddly enough i can use my decimator with my luxury yacht...

Yeah. You can use the deed infininte times to generate another SoruSuub.

I have a Nova Cruiser and a Y-8. I can fly both just fine. But if you have three POB ships, you can't fly one of them. You can only have two POB ships in your datapad.
And as for which is better, I really like the Y-8... I mean, it's huge. But it's not possible, really, to decorate it because moving items up and down inside it doesn't work.

If i delete my Luxury Yacht, will i be able to respawn it since I still have the deed with me? (It never disappeared when i generate the ship, and when i tried redeeding the ship, it said "You cant redeed the Yacht!")
