Thread: How are we supposed to grind if you can't even catch the enemy fighters?

Whats up with that? i have lvl 7, 92,3 Engines and my top speed is 875 and i can't even keep up with Tier 4 and Tier 5 since yesterday's patch.... Plus if you actually manage to keep up, 875 speed turns so slow that its useless in combat... you need to have a speed around 500 for better turns.
so my question is how are we supposed to grind tier 4 when we cant even keep up with enemy bombers (slowest fighters) without even mentioning A-Wings and fast attack crafts?
This is rediculous.. whats up with that change? Is there a fix in the air?
WTG SOE screwed us over one more time, especially with your Warcry "fix", i can't even take out my jedi for grinding. /applauds SOE

Its getting worse and worse, yes...
They've redone the AI at the end of the beta, so there was no way it could've been tested for some time (not that they would've done anything about it..), it was much worse than the one before, and now, with another crazy speed change (ships that are equal to your level shouldn't be much faster than you..?), its even worse.
Well, it has been the same with SWG, they release it as a beta and it still is in that state, sort of.
I don't say WoW is better than SWG, but just take a look at it, its at the end of its beta and its extremly good. No, I won't continue play WoW, but thats because I don't like fantasy MMORPGs.

How about don't chase them? They will eventually turn and come back to you.
Also I had no problem keeping up with Tier 4 Tie Interceptors with my X Wing with an 83.3 engine, I actually thought the Ties got dumber cause once I got behind them, they continued on in a perfectly straight line and I hammered their as$es.
Maybe it's specific ships that are ridiculous now? I don't know, I did fine against the Ties anyway

I dont have your problem and I have the same engine.. the famous 92.2 engine and my ship is a heavy tank.. You need to learn to control your speeds....

Not sure what the problem is. While I did have a lot of trouble keeping up with the advanced Ties last night I learned to just wait for them to come back and then they were toast.
After the AI change last night I took on two Tier 4 Aggressors alone and won with no damage... Thats a first for me. Not harder. Just different.
