Thread: still wouldent mind a mp3 player in my ship

I think regardless they just need a mp3 / cd player for the game itself.
I programmed chat programs for AOL since I was such an IRC guy back in the day... I'm so use to chat commands.
I spent like 1 hour and made a program where I could manually set directory of mp3's. I had simple commands like play stop next back pause random so forth...
It would take one dev max of a few hours to program one for swg.

Ya that would be cool, it would be even more cool if it imported your stuff from what ever you currently use, itunes, windows media, winamp, whatever. It would rock!

You know what happens if they implement that?
People would blame SOE making game laggybecause their computers cannot handle MP3 decoding while playing. People even says combat taunts making lag in space, cant think what mp3 cant do..

There are people who can't play Galaxies *and* listen to MP3s at once?! *shocked*
Err... I don't know if I should be serious with that or not, so I'll just say: multimedia keyboard. Or are we asking for /streaming/ MP3 plays on MP ships? *shudder*

I got the game windowed and run my mp3 player in the background mmm so nice wonder if anyone else is smart enough to do this instead of begging SOE for an onboard mp3 player lol

i do that,im doing that right now,i have galaxies minimized because im waiting for a friend to come on so we can do our master mission together,but i agree that it would be nice to let other people ehar your stuff on a MP ship,be great for parties,a little artcitect-made boombox in the corner broadcasting through the ship
