The problem is the game has way too much clutter as is. Too many items results in more lag. Thats part of why guns decay at rapid rate now. Instead of the old last near forever they had when the game started. Its not a brilliant idea. The houses are set up now so that players are forced to maintain against clutter. I do not need this I should get rid of it.

The houseing system as is now is more then adequate for most players. 300

hmmm does anyone know where i can get the item limits on houses because I am outgrowing my medium house now. With 150 itmes plus i thought if i had like a storage box that just counts as one 1 item even though i had 50 items in it. Sry to continue this thread in the jtl boards but i was wondering

I heard this suggestion multiple times and a similar response..

a server is like a bus or something, more people get on, it might get a flat I think. (I dont remember the response very well)

Smalls and Mediums hold 150.

I think the naboo round small house holds 75 but not sure.

Large houses and Guild Halls hold 250

City Halls hold 250 but only the Mayor can use them.

If you need more room for storage a factory is a good idea they take 1 lot and store 100 so if you get 1 of them you can store 200 items on 2 lots compared to a medium house that only holds 150 items and uses 2 lots.

Smalls 75-150 1 lot

Mediums 150 2 lot

Larges 250 4 lot

Anything more like guildhalls cityhalls cantinas medcenters. Cost too much lot wise to be good for storage.

A house will count all items even if in bags. Though bags are recommended for small items its easier to handle. Though occassionally you will have server boundry disappearances. Which means you will have to logout or go cross another boundry. This was not always the case but the devs fixed it as people piled thirty thousand items in a small house.

Vendors can hold hundreds of items.

Droids can hold items.

Factories can hold items.

Banks can hold 100 items in safety deposit.

I did the math once and it came out to useing all your lots mind you. You can hold 750 items in five mediums. Get medium generics you can hook them up in a wall it looks nice and is easily organized. You can store ten items in a droid. 100 items in a bank box. 50 in your backpack, and 59 on your player with a backpack.

So a player can hold approximately 1000 items. Take heart the devs have said they would allow for items to be more stackable in the future such as loots and skilltapes and the like. The items that easily eat up most of the space in the game. Other then that you can also try getting your goods in crates.

I very audacious player could manage to stow away upwards of 2000 items, but is being saddled with merchant worth it to use vendors for storage.
