Thread: Jabba's IMP Gift Mission FREELANCE PILOTS HELP!

Ok does anyone have any idea how to do this mission, any secrets. I can get to the first marker by boosting past them.. well I kill some first then go zooom.. I dock with the first Imperial shuttle .. then the bad guys are on me.
Do I emergency thrust? .. Use Pirate Trap? or the inevitable.. Just bring friends.
Any Input will help. Thanks!

I'm at the exact same point. I'd be willing to run interference with ya. I'm a pacific coaster.

Some tips to consider...
- Hyperspacing to another point in the same sector can get you out of trouble and away from the mobs. It will give you plenty of time to recharge your shields and head to meet the imp. You can virtually complete the mission without engaging anyone.
- If you do engage the mobs, shoot out the engines or reactor first then leave them. On some missions, the next wave of unfriendlys only hyper in after the first wave has been destroyed. Only disabling the ships should give you enough time to get closer to the imp contact. Disabled ships will self destruct after a while (and you won't get any xp for them) but it gives you some more time. (I haven't tried this strategy on this mission so it may not work).
- IFFScramble is your friend. If you don't have this, make sure you get it soon. It will temporarily stop the unfriendlies aggroing you and will give you more time to get the hell out of Dodge.
- If none of the above work, find yourself a wingman. If you find someone who is on tier 4 or higher, they should make quick work of the unfriendlies but two tier 3 pilots will be more than adequate. You'll breeze the mission.
