Thread: Privateer Tier 2 skills Help?

Alright, here's the situation.
So, I'm a privateer, and I'm working out of the Mos Eisley area. I finished all the tier 1missions and got all of the skills from Dravis. I did the followingmission from Talon Karrde, and saw the woman in the Lucky Despot to complete it. Except now, he tells me to get my missions from her. So, I go to her, and she gives me three options...except, it doesn't seem like these missions ever have an ending to them. It's "capture this transport now after you've captured 5 others", or "destroy this Black Sun group after destroying those last 7 groups".
Is there really an end to these missions, or am I supposed to be somewhere else for my tier 2 skills?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

I'm in the same boat as you, I believe these are what they call duty missions which mean you can keep getting them until you get enough XP to level up. But I'm still about 10K short for my first box in level 2 so I'm not exactly sure this is supposed to work this way. I thought I had read that you were supposed to be given regular missions that had endings for the first box of every tier, and then get the Duty missions for the other 3 boxes, but maybe it's just for tier 1. Sorry I couldn't give you more info.

You can't start the Tier2 missions before you get your next Tier2 skill.

So you need to get enough XP for your first box then you'll get the tier 2 missions?

These are called 'Duty Missions'. The only way to end them is to go into your datapad, bring up the radial menu on the mission, and click 'End Duty'. They are meant to be like this. Try completing each of them at least once, then when you have enough xp, go back and see if she will train you.

Yes, and when you get enough XP the woman you were doing Duty missions for will teach you the skill and give you the next mission.

I know how hard this is but usally u can solo tier 3 ships once you master tier 1. These give about 1.5-3k xp and can help alot.
