Thread: Compiling all issues with jtl. whats do you think is most important?

My oppinion (1 is highest priority):
1) PVP bases in space (all sectors)
2) Fix turret AI to make turrets less accurate and more realistic
3) make the pob ships harder to kill than one man fighters (i heard that POBs go down in one hit)
4) Allow pilots to go overt anywhere (and go covert by talking to the rebel space station)
5) Stop making new tier 2 missions, newer players are focused on the main quest and masters need something to do so make tier 5 levels only
6) More mission variety, less grinding
7) fix bug with b wing s foils not opening all the way
8) merge rebel and freelancer ships to an extent (so rebels can have the yt1300 and privateers can fly anything the npcs like hidden daggers and nym pilots can fly)
9) Make the firespray available at tier 2 (its just a patrol craft! if you want an ultra rare ship, why not make the jedi starfighter be the one where you need pieces of shematics)
(getting into the part where its not problems so much as cool ideas)
10) add craft like the N1 starfighter, the jedi starfighter (episode 2 and the episode 3 one) that ship nym had in star wars starfighter, and maybe create a brand new ship for the rebels, but make it feel like a rebel ship (not like what yo did with the new faction helmets that look like stormtroopers).
11) more pvp missions than ust killing a star destroyer. how about trying to swim through a sea of ties to find the one that has some special computer data on it, download it, and then deliver it to the rebel station in in some other sector (where player ties or mercs will be ordered to go to stop you)

Fix Weapon Overload 3. That alone would solve the PvP debate, and rebalance PvE somewhat.

For me it's being able to be overt anywhere being neutral it really narks me I cant go overt in DP
as for your list I would agree with all off them except 8,9,10
oh and Sifer2 has some good ideas

should be split into 2 lists, 1 for needed fixes 1 for desireable additions
Fixes:
1. PoB ship vulnerability
2. WO3 (even tho im like it)
3. AI invulnerabilities (top/underside)
Additions:
1. Space stations/capitol ships
2. Post master content
3. A proper free4all pvp zone like kessel was supposed to be
4. Naval rank hierarchy similar to ground factions
5. More options for PoB ships
My personal wish-list for PoB expansion
1. re-loadable missiles (done as a minigame where the crew have to do some wiring/code puzzle to arm it, with a chance of explosion on failure)
2. co-pilot plasma re-routing (done as a mini game where u have to redirect the plasma flow around a network of pipes, and close off leaking areas but if u raise the pressure down a pipe too high the conduit breaks at that point too / damage is done to the nearby component, maybe nake it even tricker by having polarised plasma that if it meets causes an explosion)
3. Cargo hold component
4. Mining component (maybe done as a kinda mini game to operate, would replace a turret and require a cargo hold
5. Gas sampling component (maybe done as a kinda mini game to operate, would replace a turret and require a cargo hold
6. Docking component (replace a turret, operated as a minigame with failure possibly damaging both craft, used to transfer personnel on/off)
7. loading mechanism (replace a turret.. used to reload starfighters)
8. Repair mechanism ( replace a turret.. used to repair starfighters)
9. hidden compartments (for smuggling)
10. Bacta tank component(for on-ship crew cloning)
11. Repair droids that travel on outside of hull and can be shot off (like in the films)

PvP is only good for so long
we need content and lots of it
i want to be neck high in content, trying to find some raft to hold onto while i become overwhelmed in the tide

How would merging all the Freelancer and Rebel ships be fair to Imperial Pilots? I know were not that common but we exist. LOL
As for what I think is really needed. We need a reason for people on the ground to want to go into space. At the moment you could completely ignore Space an would'nt miss a thing on the ground. There needs to be things such as destroying Capital ships in Deep Space counting towards the GCW. As well as Space Stations where we could perhaps score some cool groundloot that would encourage land lovers to become a Pilot to reach such places. Another big thing im wanting is to be able to actually land my ship somewhere an be able to look at it an show others.
