After I finished all of the first group of missions the coordinator asked me if I wanted to train. No big deal, but it let me train one box with only 3900xp points yet the first level is 7500. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Yes it's normal, you get 1 free box and the other 3 you need the xp. You have to finish the entire first row (tier 1) before you can get a box on tier 2.

As a pilot in training I find it annoying that I can't train like other professions. Sor instance Tier 3 Alliance Pilot. I have the XP to move up but have to fly a bunch of stupid missions to do it. A pilot should be allowed to go to his fraction trainer and get leveled up. I would be willing to pay just like the other professions.

Because of this restriction I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on JTL. What a rip off. I've spent to date $60.00 dollars on the games, plus shipping, and $75.00 being on line and can't get my pilot trained. What's up with that.

Get a friend or two to fly with you and you can level all of the tier III boxes in an evening, much faster than standard leveling. I know that the missions are frustrating, I was locked with capped xp for a good amount of time before I could finally line up some time with a friend to get through the missions, but once we were botha vailable we did 3 tier III missions in about 2.5 hours.

people asked for content, and not just a grind, the devs gave content and no grind and everyone complains....go figure

If they did it that way everyone would be able to be master pilot inside a week.

The only annoying thing is if you fail on the long missions you have to repeat the whole thing, that holds more people back then anything.

It's to balance out your skills. You cant be flying in a tier 4 ship with tier 1 components and expect to do tier 4 missions. Youd be seeing a bunch of crappy ships out there, lol. But believe me, when it gets harder, you'll be happy it's like that.

I'm a 2/1/1/1 Rebel Pilot with exp capped at 200k, so ready to train to 2/2/2/2...

However, I can't seem to finish mission to land at Abandoned Rebel Base, so I went Overt and drove there(long ride on Ahazi...). But now that I'm here the trainer keeps telling me to go do some mission and won't let me train...Is there anywhere I can train now?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me...

Training is gated. So you have to complete a mission to be able to train in most every box at some point. Some tiers you do a few missions then just xp and train (Tier 1) some tier youxp then mission to get trained (tiers 2 and 4) and Tier 3 is missions only, you dont use any xp in this tier
