Ok, I've been having a problem with this while I'm up flying around. I went out to Lok in my TIE killed a few Nym's guys and didn't lose any Nym's faction points in the process. Also, as I've been progression in my Imperial Pilot missions I haven't been getting any Imperial faction points for killing NPC rebs in space either.. Not sure what's going on, I've been doing the Black Epsilon squadron mission out of Talus.

Also, what is up with the restricted zones? How do they become unlocked.. etc.

You don't get faction at this point from killing things in space, not sure if they plan on adding this later, but I doubt it.

It's one of the few things that actually bothers me about the expansion. There's too little connection between the ground and space as is, it'd be nice after a hard day of blowing up TIEs to be able to go to a base and buy a faction pet or turret or something.

I Agree. the Factions should get at least a small amount of faction points even if its only say 10 for tier 1 20 for T2's 30 for T3's.... you get the idea. I mean, come on Sony.... hook a brother up..... man!

yes you do get fp points in space if overt in space

So you can only get faction points in space while overt. Thats cool they should do somthing like that for the ground game, after they have done the combat upgrades.
