Thread: Throttle KEEPS MOVING to midpoint, constantly

A couple of times per minute, the throttle keeps moving to the same spot at midpoint, and I noticed that when I upgraded ships, now it's moving to a point about 60%. Doesn't matter if I'm above or below that point, it gets moved to it. Huge pain in the arse to keep adjusting throttle back, particularly if you're chasing or being chased and it impairs our ability to do so.

Bleu, do you have a joystick (or multiple joysticks) along with other controllers? When I had this issue I was using my mouse for piloting and had my joystick (w/ throttle) plugged in. Although in my case the joystick throttle was set to min, and my ship kept trying to stop since the keyboard throttle controls kept being over ridden by the joystick throttle controls. To get around it if you still want to use mouse/keyboard I found I had to disconnect my joystick or disable it in my game controller setup.

Also, if you are using only a joystick but modified the keymap, I have found that the throttle control tends to want to cut in while assigning other buttons, so double check your keymap.
