Hi pilots, i want to get a group online tonight to help as many people as possible doing the first mission in Dathmoir. As this mission is VASTLY overpowered (Basicly impossible solo) i call on all Rebel pilots, ACE and below to help your fellow Pilots finish this mission.
If you want to help out, please mail me, Jessian in game, as i want to do this mission TODAY, im sick and tired not being able to achieve this mission due to OVERPOWERED TAIL GUNNER ON SHUTTLE or too many level 4 NPC flying about.
Its okay, sitting there, with your ACE badge saying stick at it, but my components and ship is NOT CAPABLE of killing all these waves one after the other.
If any Pilot, no matter what the level is looking for XP please mail me in game. and we can organsie tonight a group quest to do this mission.
Get as many Rebel pilots as you know to help each other out doing this mission. I will also help other Rebel Pilots achieve this mission later on as well.

I don't have an Ace badge, and I say 'Stick at it.' It took me a week to get the hang of that mission, then I completedthrough Tier 3 in a day. You absolutely MUST disable things, rather than kill them. You can kill them later (almost) at your leisure. They'll go boom if you leave them sittingTOO long.
I'm on the very last Tier 4 mission, and my tactics finally started lagging behind the sheer numbers. I have done everything up to this solo. I'm not trying to stop you from grouping. I'mjust suggesting you don't have to wait for one. Keep trying.

Jessian, I just completed this mission solo last night, actually, but it was after MANY failed attempts. I agree that the mission is a bit too hard. I am on Eclipse (Esparta Crane) so look me up if you want help. Barring that, let me make a few suggestions.
1: Start by hammering the crap out of the shuttle. Take out its gun ASAP. Once its gun is disabled, mop up its escort.
2: Go back for repairs. The mission is so damn long, I was able to go back to Dathomir Station and get repairs TWICE. Primarily, what I was getting back was armor, but it was worth the extra time.
3: When doing the second info drop (the one to the Rebel Gunboat), when you start to get overwhelmed, turn on your IFF and slam your Booster. Just get the hell out of there. The Rebel Gunboat can more than handle the TIEs. Keep running away until IFF runs out, and the TIEs will trickle in towards you. Plus, the new ones that hyperspace in WILL NOT already be right on top of you.
4: By biggest problem was that I kept running out of Capacitor power. If you can replace one of your gun mounts (I am assuming you are using the Y-Wing Longprobe) with a gun that has a high rate of fire but a low energy cost, do so. Also, sacrifice total Capacitor power for Capacitor recharge on this mission, so you can always keep the minimum juice to that low yield gun.
Anyhow, that's what I learned getting this damn mission done. But if you want help, I am 2/3/2/2 right now. I have to go refit my ship with 6-7 parts tonight, but afterwards I'd be more than happy to help you with it.
