Does anyone else think the tie opressor would look 1000 times more awesome if they just shaved that stupid top wing off of it? Try putting your thumb over it in the pictuire of it and it looks fantastic. The way it is now it looks like they just went too overboard.

They decided it was cooler to make up a ship instead of giving us any one of the real fighters already exisiting be it the Tie Avenger or the Defender.

Actualy the defender was a made up ship from the minds of lucasarts as well. It was created specificaly for the 1994 tie fighter game. The opressor could have been great too with some visual changes.

they should turn the wings around on the oppressor so they look more like the defender's, now that would really make it cool looking

I dunno i think the swept back look is kind of inovative as oposed to the "dagger" look of the interceptor that is held in such high regard. The agressor has this same styling cue and i think its a neat new look.

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but all youve truly proven is that the TIE Opressor looks really sweet with a giant thumb mounted on top.

I like the oppressor, I just wish all the ships had a little more mass....the oppressor would be flat awesome with 165k of mass....you could really put a nice reactor, with great shields and weapons...my only complaint is the price tag...800k to 1mil...for something that onlys a few weeks....the shipwrights have us pilots in a sling, they are pulling the not tighter....

Hehe the oppressor is getting a mass increase with today's patch. Now all I need to do is get past that tier3 mission...
