Sad I feel it needs re-vitalizing already, but.

A group finding function is sorely needed.

The current system requires anyone you're searching for to be standing next to you for any results.

Take a page from EQ.

We need a server wide LFG function, in which you can specify "JTL group" "Tier X" "Faction X" etc. with a short message. Searchable server wide.

This would do wonders IMO, because grouping in JTL is an entirely different experience. One that I fear most don't get to experience often enough to truely enjoy JTL.

I honestly don't know what the problem is with SWG, why all the search functions only search about 10 feet around you.

FIX THE SPACE UI

perhaps like PA's there should be buildings avliable that allow you to manage a squadron with wing commanders. This would allow more PvP events and perhaps even weekly missions as well as ISD.

There are many things that can be done in this game if your willing to arrange it or do it yourselves. The game is how you make it, easier said than done though.

That actually might not be a bad idea, finding groups to help with missions are so hard ive found, most people just cant be bothered to help you either.

So having a function where you can search for groups that are avaliable might be pretty good.

With the grouping requirement for JTL something needs to be done to make grouping easier. Lets see if the sloooow moving devs actually get on this before its too late.

I agree about the problem with the grouping. I'm considering joining a PA just so I can have guildies to help me out with the JTL stuff. I'm not big into player guilds and the rules and regulations that they tend to impose and would rather be a casual grouper. But I've spent half an hour in the dantooine mining outpost spamming "I need a wingman for rebel tier 3" without any luck. Without a better way to find a group for JTL, and considering that the ground game devolved into solo groups, there really isn't any other way to find wingmen.

That is one of the problems with some of the posters on this message board. They refuse to admit its hard as hell to get a group together. Being in a guild is not the always the solution either. A lot of time other guild members are not on or they are doing their own thing. The devs should have considered all of this and come up with a solution before requiring people to be part of none existant groups.
