I am having a real problem with the "take cover" icon. It pops up everytime I log on in three locations on my toolbar and I have to replace it with the correct icon. Now I have programed a flight computer and the sliding "take cover" icon has replaced the real icon for these commands. How do I correct this?

I just programed a flight computer with the 3 new droid commands for a Privateer. The problem, when I try to put the commands in my tool bar, I see that the "take cover (sliding in and out of the box) has replaced the normal icons for these commands. This also happens when I log on. Has anyone seen this, and if so how do I correct this problem?? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have had this happen to mea few times after patches, short of removing all my hot key icon's and replacing them, I have no other suggestions.

It happens to me when I first log on, and only on F1. It still works, so I just leave it.

I've gotten this problem a lot. I've send tickets and chatted with the CSRs but nothing worked. My best bet is just to use a different toolbar.

Um... both these commands have the Take Cover icon in my control+A menu. I thought that was just the icon they had used. Are you saying it shouldn't be?

Yeah, the new rebel shield commands do it too. The bug has been in the game since launch...I remember I had ground abilities mapped to the toolbar that used to do the same thing now and then.

Actually I believe some commands use the same icon. The capacitor overload one, for example, does use the same one. Am I correct on this?

I think this icon is displayed when there isn't an icon assigned to the command... the same thing appears for the /language ithorese command.

I got a resolution from the tech supportforum (yes the TS forum) yesterday. I tried it and it worked. Here you go; Right click on the bouncing icon and select "remove". Replace the bouncer with the correct icon for that slot and it should stick. I tried this on all my characters and a year long problem seems to have been cleared up. The bouncing "take cover" icon is still in the actions menu, but I created a macro for the reactor and capasitor overloads and they work as well. Thanks TS.
