Is there a Death Star trench you can fly though?

Where does it state there is a Death Star trench you can fly through? It simply invites people who have dreamt of such things to try out JTL, since it might be their cup of tea.

We'll simply becuase its written to assume you can do this my friend. Just like how reviews with IGN stated you can be Jedi right off the bat before the Jedi even exisited on the servers.
It's this simple. Less "dreaming" and more actual game facts of the game would be nice, rather than explaining to my friends on Teamspeak that
"NO, there is no death star trench you can fly an X wing into "
How many people will read that article and think they can before they realize, they cant?
Anyways...
My question was.... Is there even part of the Death Star trench you can fly through?

This is very disreputable.
Of course, it's not like other games haven't done this already.

It's called "fluff" people. And for the love of God, the game itself has enough bugs...do we really have to go hunting for things wrong with the advertising?

I'm sure a couple of the random power converters, armor segments, turret housings and such that bounce off your shields as you fly through the final resting place of the first Death Star may very well have been from one of the many trenches on the battlestation's surface.
I know it isn't the answer you wanted, but there are chunks of the Death Star that you can fly through in the Yavin system.

I think it's the "may yet" part that gets around "false advertising". Now if that sentence read "Those dreams will come true..." then I think you'd have more of a case. ![]()

I really hate it when SOE blatently exaggerates SWG like this.Thisreally is not the ethical thing to do.SOE did this sort of thing long before JTL, by puttingads out on the web andthings on theSWG website that made it seem that featureslike the battlefields with AT-ATs wereplayable all along andgiving the impression that everyone can bea Jedirelatively easily sincethey made it seem that nearly everyone on SWG was enjoying their Jedi and playing in the great GCW. Of coursemuch oftheactualreal gameplay was not mentioned but those wonderfully graphic adsas well asthe vagueand misleading comments no doubt helped reel in some sales. It'sreally too bad that SOE has to rely on smoke and mirrorsto sell SWG rather than being able tosell the product on its own merits.

I admit, that caught my eye too. Its nothing special, standard business practice really, but I'm always irked when I see it in SWG related stuff. I always think to myself, 'sigh...more vague and broken promises about this game.'
Yeah, I'm bitter, hehe.
But I'm still playing, so I can't be too bitter I guess!
