You think you have it bad sometimes with JTL?
Try out Freelancer. The game is horrbily made and also made by Microsoft.
My buddies on Teamspeak had me try it out.
JTL is awsome comparedto Freelancer.
1. Freelancer has NO inverted options
2. YouCANT even roll your own ship in space. The AI can.
3. if you think JTL is a dissapointment at times, go play Freelancer and you'll cahnge your mind.

Actually freelancer wasnt so bad the multiplayer aspect was fun but the static econamy soon made it feel stale once you had explored as much as you could, it also wetted my appetite for a mmo, when i signed up for swg it was on the promise ofJTL coming in the future so now im quite happy

I thought freelancer was pretty cool until the UNBELEIVEABLY hard Race. For it's time it was about the best space sim out there that allowed you to trade and salvage like JTL does. Don't know why they put the horrible race in the middle of a good campain. ruint the game for me; and alot of people; according to the boards.

Hey hey hey, compared to several other past space sims *caugh* Freelancer blew them out of the competition. For the first time, I felt a ship move!

Hard race? I beat it on the first try with ease o.O ....what was so hard about it?

sorry but Freelancer had Space Trade, Mining, Missions, Storyline and nontheless the speed set to the mousewheel =) ... besides i don't think you'd need roll in FL due to it's flightmodel/handling, at least i never missed it, and i played a lot of FL.

Freelancer was a good game, albeit slow to start, not to mention a totally different game to JTL.So no comparison really. Only thing in common is that its set in space.

It's hilarious that you're blasting Freelancer when a large percentage of JtL was written by the same people.

At least Freelancer had some sense of awe, exploration, and suspense. The only way I can get close to that now in JTL is if an MPS needs an engineer/fire fighter, which isnt every day.
after 1 week of fighting AI after AI in a single seater, the honeymoon apruptly ends unless your really weird or on a lot of drugs but there's hope for the future maybe because they did fix the missions kinda quick,.
