I would really like to know what the dev's are thinking by putting the tier 3 Imperial pilot missions inside a restricted area of the Emperors retreat. How exactly am I supposed to do kill missions to gain access with a char thats artisan/merchant/shipwright/merchant?
I'm really quite annoyed now, I'm gonna have to blag someone into running around with me doing a load of missions now...
One of the best things about the JTL expansion was that anyone could fly whatever their class is on the ground so why did they have to go and do something so stupid.

Yeah kind of like ths storm squadron mission where you have to talk to a "spy" in Nyms strong hold, kind of a pain when your a master doc with -5000 Nym faction............

I'm supprised that they didnt think that some people don't want to do repetative ground based combat continually so opt for the non-combat classes and would still want to play the expansion. Mind you judging by the terrible support system/customer service I think the first thing they see is the $$$$$$

I had this problem as well.
However, you don't have to do the missions.
Go to Naboo space. Do the Naboo space station mission (takes you to Yavin space).
Go back to the Emp's Retreat and talk to the pilot NPC standing at the enterance. He'll give you access to the back part of the Retreat.

as you walk to the door you can't enter at the retreat, stop, unplug you enet cable, enter the door, plug it back in. go where you need to , talk to who you need, walk back to the door, unplug again, and walk out.
you can do this to enter anywhere you are 'majicly ejcted' from.
