I hear rumors that when you buy the game you get a free x-wing kinda ship is that true?

you get a starter ship from yourpilot trainer to do the missions with, but after the missions are done you can get a new one if you went 1/0/0/0 pilot, but only shipwrights can craft em

You can get a new one at start its just not verry usefull.
