I'll just paraphrase myself from another thread:

Well... it all depends on what you're after.

As far as layout goes I like the Nova the best actually, it's several rooms and corridors to run around in. I like it when a ship has severel distinct areas and the Nova certainly does. I really enjoyed running through the long corridors, a repair kit in each hand trying to keep the damage under control. Hehe. It's a shame the windows in the front room is so small though, kinda hard to get a good look at things. I also very much like the outside look of the nova. I've always been a fan of the down and dirty style of star wars and this is it.

The Decimator certainly is very imperial and I like that it has a bridge rather than a cockpit. And the big deathstaresque windowat the front is awesome. What I think is a little boring with it is the fact that once you get down from the bridge it's just two large connected rooms. I mean... when I get down I can actually see the entire ship. No cool corridors to run through ("and he just goes on and ON about the corridors!" Well, yes. I like corridors. They bring a kind of capital ship feel to the whole thing), no chance to make "a wrong turn".

The YT was somewhat of a dissapointment. Yes, all the textures look great, but the actual deckplan is quite boring. It's just a circular corridor basically and it's definetly the smallest interior of all the POB ships. I had really been hoping for some more small rooms off of the main hallways (like the one Leia is welding in in ESB) and maintenance style corridors/tunnels. Come to think of it, there are several doors in the YT that would supposedly lead to these kind of places but they can't be opened. I have always imagined the YT to be a bit of a maze with lots of small rooms and corridors. Something more like this deckplan. At first I thought maybe they made it this simple because it would be too difficult to make it into what it SHOULD be, but then they released the yacht...

Now it sounds like I hate the YT, and that's definetlynot giving the right impression. I'm going Privateer on live so it's what I'll be flying down the line and it DOES have a very tangible Star Wars atmosphere, I just think it could have been so much more! Especiallyconsidering thatthis is one of the most iconic things outofStarWars, right up there with lightsabers and the X-wing.Maybe the Devs can go the extra mile and do it right when the YT-2400 goes ingame. Here's hoping...

Keep in mind though that the differences are all purely cosmetical. The ships are basically all the same. Same mass, same handling etc. How fast it goes or how much damage the guns do is based on what components you put in. So in the end it comes down to personal aesthetic preference.
