Thread: Will I still get my FREE SPEEDER!

Hey,
I just pre-orderd JTL yesterday basically because I wanted the free landspeeder. Is it too late for me to get the free landspeeder? I wasn't anticipating recieving any CD other than the Retail one so I don't imagine I will have any other CD KEY other than the retail.
If thats the case then I am afraid I am SOL on the free speeder I just hope that this is in fact not the case.

As far as I know, you were supposed to recieve a disc with JTL beta on it. You would then need to register the key to get the speeder.

To my knowledge there is a JTL BETA disk that comes with the Pre-Order. Once you recieve that you put in the Reg Key and you'll receive your speeder on the 27th.

I have another question.
I will get the beta disk but likely 1 week later than 27 october since gamestop will send only the game amd the beta disk together for international costumer.
Now I hear I have to input some registry key ?
Which one and where ?
Will I have to register for beta with a beta key ?
WIll it still be possible one week or 2 week after JTL release ?

Thanks for the reply.
EB did not mention sending out a disc to me all they said was that the game ships on the 26th.
I hope they do infact send the Beta disk although I have my concerns since Beta is for the most part over.

Man I am realy bummed now,
I went back to the pre-order you copy of JTL screen and it doesn't mention the free speeder. I am going to be very upset if there was some type of deadline that wasn't printed bout the free speeder. I do not believe that they required you to be in Beta to recieve the speeder but I could be incorrect about that.

I too ordered the expansion for the sole purpose of getting the special edition speeder...
Upon calling EBgames i was informed that this promotion ended on the 18th and was only while supplies lasted.
I am very upset by this because as was stated above, this was not mentioned on the launchpad.
I believe that this is false advertisement and the launchpad should have been changed as soon as this promotion ended.
I put in a CSR ticket in game and got the usual response...
sorry for any inconvenience but we do not handle this issue, goto the forums where everyone else that has this problem is talking about it.
So, here i am hoping someone will do something to fix this injustice.
Had the speeder not been offered i WOULD NOT have purchased the expansion i am quite content on the ground.

Heck ya man,
I have bough much more expensive things for worse reasons.
I am not convinced that the life of a fighter pilot is the life for me 
However, that speeder A) Looks kewl and B) can come in handy besides I like to collect em all.

When I got mine thru EB-Games and contacted their CSRs, they said that they stopped shipping them on Oct. 15th! I was able to get mine from my local EB Games, so try there.

Eb are douchebags, they won't give you a disk unless you ask... which is kinda stupid if you ask me
