I was hoping someone from the betacould tell me how group combat is handled in the game. As one of the best parts of the ground game is fighting in a group, and due to the turn based nature of the game is quite easy to type in messages during battle, however in the real-time "twitch"game elements I can't think of anything more worse than having totype in either messages during combat. So is there a type of quick message/warning buttons, usingthe F1-12 keys likein BF42? Or is there some other system in place.

Also how are they formed do you have to have a group pre-formed on the ground or can you build up in space.

good question about grouping

if there arent hotkeys for comms like bf1942 (and i bet there arent). it would be the same thing as the ground game for making macros and binding them to keys. infact, this is a huge concern of mine, typing crap while hands are busy with joytsick. it didnt even cross my mind to make macros for quick messages...thanks!
