Thread: multi-person ship xp

when flying in a multi person ship and kills are being made who gets the xp is it the same as on the ground game based on how much damage you did to the target in your position.
What about passageners will they also get xp from the kills or will they get seperate xp for fixing the ship during a flight. Does the pilot get more xp because he is flying
whats the situation???

the total kill xp is divided amongst everyone on the ship.
and also just to add, as of now if 2 or more players in seperate ships engage and kill a target they get the same xp. doesnt matter if they are grouped or not.
i think that was one of the best things they did especially when you hit the higher tiers. without that xp at those levels would be at a premium

To expand a little on that: You must do at least 5% of the damage and you will get full XP if someone else destroys him it is the same on turrets I believe. A couple times on the decimator we killed stuff but I didnt take a shot and didnt get any XP (it could have been a bug
) but then again in a friends Ywing I went AFK while he was still blowing stuff up and I still got XP.
