Thread: JTL guilds... independant of ground guilds...

Since what happens in space is operating so independant upon what happens on the ground, and also the fact that many guilds are mixed - and piloting is so different from the ground game that often players who hunt animals together may very well not like flying together, I think players should be able to form space guilds (or squadrons)independant of their ground guilds.
While in space, they could have an alternate tag. This also could come in handy if space-based faction bases or stations come into play. It might also make developing squadrons easier. Many squadrons I've come across are not guild squadrons and are made up of many different guilds, so why not allow them to form a guild of their own without breaking allegiance to friends they've had on the ground for many months?

This would be too confusing. I am still pushing for guild wars to be viable in space.

Yes, it is really not an issue, my guild ICE is the oldest and largest all pilots guild in existance. We have no ground combat and work just fine for space ordeals. The rebels are afraid to fly overt on our server, for fear they will run into our pilots...
If guild wars were a possibility for space only, and not ground included it would greatly increase activity. Everyone has the ability to defend themselves in space, and aren't subject to the 3l1t3 k1d$ who harrass ground players.

I have GuildI crated Strictly for Space. BSS Black Sheep Squadron on Bria. We are a group Have been in Many other games Mainly FPS. Yeah we are Old farts.
I would prefer the Option of Guild War Space. Also to have the guild Tag show different on ground would be a nice touch. I dont want to see player space stations or Guild halls in space. Goto cornet or anywhere else and youll see my point. Try to Drive a swoop from Point a to b with out running into a guild hall or 12.
