What if you could doc with a capital ship and be a gunner aboardthis vast vessel. Ships are attacking and you and others have to shoot them or fail in yoru mission and be destroyed?

Maybe a gunner on a corellian corvette, or a star destroyer or a space station.

It would be like a giant yt-1300. Where you can repair during battle, and fire from turrets but it's bigger!

It could be a pvp event of some sort. Either side can be in either position, attacking or defending.
