If you mean can they be destroyed in space, the answer is "no" - they are INVINCIBLE!!! They can only take damage from you ejecting.

If you mean can they be deleted from your datapad, then the answer is "yes", although you do keep the deed in your inventory and can generate and delete the ship as often as you want. I'd guess that if you deleted it then yes, you would lose everything inside. I haven't yet had chance to confirm this though.

Can it be destroyed? If it can what happens to the contents of the ship? ( say a painting or some such decoration )

If your talking about losing items on the ship when destroying the ship in your datapad.......Hmm! don't know really.....if your talking about damage in space....then no, it can't take damage from anything except ejecting out of it.

I'd say the best way to find out if things on the ship get destroyed when you delete it from the datapad is to put something on the ship that you don't mind losing...some useless junk or whatever.....then delete the ship and see what happens.

It might give you a message box warning you that all items will be deleted....or it might be like houses and won't let you delete it until you empty the ship.

One thing I don't like about the yacht though is that it takes up lots......I have 1 large house and 2 small houses....so all my lots are taken.....when I tried to generate the yacht I got a message saying that I don't have any free lots.....that sucks, now I have to delete one of my houses....good thing the newest house isn't full and the stuff can easily fit in my back pack.

Hey, I just got JTL today, and I got the luxury yacht. .I was wondering if i placed furniture in it, Does it stay there permanetly (doesnt disappear when u dock)

It all stays. Haven't read any reports of stuffing moving or poofing. You can place 75 items in it.

and it takes up 1 of your 10 lots of land.
