A good friend of mine started training as a Freelance pilot in Mos Eisley on Tatooine (not sure what server, but I assume all servers are the same for the most part.) He has run into a problem that one of my alts is going to have in a few days with the Tier 3 missions. The problem is that after finishing the Tier 2 missions with the trainer in the Lukey Depost he was sent to his next trainer at Jabba's Palace and the pilot trainer is in Jabba's throne room so to be able to continue training he first has to do the Jabba Themepark missions and his character is an artisian and has no combat skills.
Who the heck thought it was a good idea to place the Freelance pilot trainer in the throne room and then have the only way a player came get to the trainer is to complete 26 missions the first of which is to go kill a Tusken Leader who has a HAM of 5200 and several other Tuskens with him. I pity the player who was a negative Jabba faction because before they can even get the first mission they have to go out and get a positive Jabba faction.
Move the trainer to the main entrance area so those of us who either have a bad Jabba faction or who have little or no combat skills can continue to train as a Freelance pilot.

The idea probably was to make it seem a little more 'Star Wars' by having you actually needing to be in Jabbas good books to continue training.
Of course when you see thousands of Jedi running around and people walking around with melee weapons and robocop armour it kind of makes it an unhealable situation
.
Tell your friend to do the Tatooine Space Station mission. If I'm not mistaken, you can do some missions to get access to a space terminal that will let you land in the palace.

join the crowd and do the search engine in the forums this topic has been covered many a time. lol by me and others. SO rise and repeat.
There is a mission on the tatooine space station you can do to getcomplete access to jabbas BUT if you wait to a later time to do it past teir1 or 2 i forget now i have do a search to find out. You lose the chance at the station. Which has happened to me. You have to do the theme park or drop the freelance on tatooine and go to corsec or naboo they dont have to do the jabba theme park. The tatooine starteris the hardest of the freelancer mission. check the forums thats already been covered too. lol
Anyways i did the theme park as a novice marksman by hit and runs on each of the mission and each of the guys give ya a average of 3 missions and there are the 2 guys at the front door the elephant man midway. chef in the 3/4 point and the garage guy. once you do them you get throne room access. YES it sucks very much if you have no care of doing it like me.

because you dont have any choice and when joining the smugglers alliance the game doesnt tell you "oh, btw. you will work for jabba in tier 3 and better be on his good side and train some ground combat profession or you cant advance as pilot because the alternate way to enter his palace is bugged and not working for a lot of players".
how nice would it be, if every tier would simply open up a new possible trainer and YOU could decide if you want to fly for val, jabba, nym or karrde instead of just being forced to work for all of them no matter how little sense it makes. and i seriously pity every single pilot who had to fly for jabba before they placed that ship console in his backyard. i imagine it was tons of fun spending 80% of your game time travelling to and from his palace with absolutely no frustration when a mission was failed. i think i need to go and buy this book, just for the laugh of comparing that theory to the reality of swg.

*lol* maybe the alliance is a fan of natural selection and doesnt really care as much about growing in numbers as they claim ,-)

yes, with the result that jabba looks like a complete retard.
"jabba forgives you for what you have done if you fly for him": so thats why i couldnt get in and his bootlicker complains about my negative faction?
"jabba wants you to fly for him and is willing to kill for it": clever, maybe he should have told the morons that wouldnt let me in. i guess killing about half a dozen of his minions would be in order for keeping me from following his wishes.
theres a mission at tatooine station to get inside, but as there are still many asking i assume its still bugged and doesnt show up for a lot of players? and as far as i have read it seems the mission is for valarian and you just get a fake blank pass to the palace. damn, why didnt luke and his gang just get one of those? ,-) and why at all? when was the last time your boss called you to his office and you had to climb through the window or pass as pizza service because his secretary wouldnt let you in?
these guys want to sell books about game design and cant even get their story and gameplay consistent? are the devs even communicating among each other?
