Hey all,
Fist of all, i love beeing neutral, although lately it changed as i went to Deep Space
Here is why.
I was minding my bussiness in kessel, killing every faction thing i could find ( rebels, imperials, you name it )
One of the advantages of corsec.
BUT!
once i cleaned out Kessel, i went to the dath station to try out deep space, and i had to chose a faction.
So i did, and now it seems, it labeled me as a rebel, or imperial. each time i pay 30K of pilots Prestige points to change my faction.. What the hell is that? Im neutral!
i want to kill everything i can !
if i wanted to support a faction in kessel, i would have been imperial pilot,
Thats my rant, but what bothers me the most, i cant help my friends kill the vette in kessel now, unless i change my faction first.

odd thing is, i can still kill TIE's and Reb's in normal sectors.
Is there annyway to reset Kessel and Deep Space faction for a neutral pilot besides dropping ace?

I believe your faction only changes while you are in Deep Space.
And the prestige points are what allows you to go to the sector.
you merely pick what side of the battle you want to fight on in DS.
It has no effect on Kesel or normal space.

There's currently a bug that if you go to Deep Space as a neutral you'll be stuck on whatever side you chose even after you leave Deep Space. I've heard from one person that if you redeed you ship this fixes it, but I've been unwilling to try it myself until I get confirmation. If anyone who has this bug is willing to redeed their ship, please post here and let us know if that fixes the issue.

mine is fixed as soon as i land.
im sure a redeed would work because it fixes the plasma leak bug on the MP ships.
