Hi
SOE's Veteran Reward a "Luxury Yacht"....hows that a reward when it uses one of your "lots", you have to redeem it to get your "lot" back, so you can put a well needed harvester down, i know you can keep changing from one to the other, but that gets pointless after a time specialy if your the sort to put items in it, pity really nice looking ship inside and out,and with storage space.
NO CAPTAIN, I SEE NO SHIPS JUST HARDSHIPS

Well the reason it uses 1 lot is it stores 75 items. The lot coding is based off of anything that holds 75 items is 1 lot. That is what they told us anyway. I dont use the thing anyway, to me its a waste of a ship slot.

Oh no problem, i think its a little cheesy but they innitially had an alternative method. It however was boo'ed to great effect before it was instituted. To the effect you could only have 1 ship in your inventory that held items, in order for another ship to hold items you had to empty it and re-deed it. Seems like a better option now though. But thunderheart whent back and instead of ships having their own storage database, they tied it into the housing storage.

So, the major thing about the yacht is that it takes up 1 lot and can store 75 items.
To store the same amount of items, you can get a Naboo Round House, but has the following requirements: Can only be built on Naboo, Dant and Rori, and costs 384 credits per day.
Free storage for 75 items that can be taken anywhere? Sure, I'll take that instead of a house.

If it has no guns its crap, to me its just a disabled ship, that can fly realy slow.

its was either the lot thing or the way it originaly was in beta you could have 1 yaght thing and 1 master multiplayer ship but if you wanted to use the master ship the yaght had to be emptyd frst and if you wanted to use the yaght the master ship had to be empty and this caused loads of people to complain as it was realy inconveinent so by making it 1 lot each they alowed both to be decorated but so it had to take a lot like all other storage.

You're nuts, the yacht is beautiful! (It is Y-A-C-H-T by the way, "y-a-u-g-h-t" is driving me nuts!) But if you don't want it then don't complain. There is a simple way to get rid of it (In inventory click destroy.) How hard was that? Also the yacht serves as a nice house on wheels and it is something you don't have to work for ever on skilling to get. Needless to say too is that you don't have to pay millions of credits to get it. Next if you are starting a new character then you already have a free house that you don't pay rent on to stay. So, to me that is a reward in itself. But if you don't like it, then delete it and don't post anything saying how you haven't been rewarded with anything. I admit, a few things could be changed, but I happy with what I will be getting. A quote can be used here, "If you give a child a cookiehe'll want a glass a milk." So stop complaining and take what you get.
